Taking part in Slippers for Shelter couldn’t be easier. Donate £1 and then, on 8 December, wear your slippers instead of your regular footwear.
However, there is more you can do to make Slippers for Shelter an even bigger success, and help us raise even more money for those facing homelessness.
Spread the word
Put up posters about the event around your school letting everyone know about it. Use social media, be it Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, and the #SlippersforShelter hashtag to tell all your friends about the day.
Dress down for ultimate cosiness
If your school wants to take Slippers for Shelter to the next level, you can make it a non-uniform day to encourage even more people to take part and wear their slippers.
Get everyone in the festive mood, by combining your slipper wearing with your Christmas party. It’s much easier to dance in slippers!
